Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00–9:00 AM and 4:00–6:00 PM
Pay: $17 per hour

Job Summary

As a Crossing Guard, you will play an essential role in ensuring that children and families safely cross the street during busy drop-off and pick-up periods. You will help manage traffic flow, support families, and promote a calm, safe environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and guide traffic in front of the center during arrival and dismissal.
  • Assist children and families with safely crossing designated crosswalk areas.
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with parents, children, and drivers.
  • Follow and enforce safety procedures and center policies.
  • Report any safety concerns or incidents to the Center Management Team.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly presence at all times.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Strong communication and awareness skills.
  • Ability to remain focused and alert during high-traffic times.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Experience working with children or in a safety role is a plus.
