Pay: $17 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Lead a preschool classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate way
- Implement The Learning Experience L.E.A.P. Curriculum to support early literacy, math, social-emotional development, and creativity
- Create a positive, structured classroom environment that supports learning through play and exploration
- Communicate daily with families regarding progress, activities, and milestones
- Partner with assistant teachers and leadership to maintain classroom quality
- Support daily routines including transitions, meals, rest time, and activities
- Ensure compliance with NJ DCF licensing requirements and center policies
- CDA (Child Development Associate) credential preferred
- At least 6 months of experience in a preschool or childcare classroom (1+ year preferred)
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP)
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Must meet all New Jersey childcare licensing requirements
