Pay: $23–$26 per hour (based on education and experience)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
- Lead daily classroom routines for preschool-aged children
- Implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons using the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Foster children's language, literacy, math readiness, social-emotional, and cognitive development
- Create a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment
- Mentor and support assistant teachers while maintaining classroom consistency
- Build strong partnerships with families through regular communication and developmental updates
- Observe, document, and support children's developmental progress
- Maintain compliance with New York State and NYC health, safety, and licensing requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education required
- Previous preschool classroom leadership experience preferred
- Strong understanding of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP)
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must meet all New York State and NYC childcare licensing requirements
