Location: The Learning Experience - Hell's Kitchen, New York, NY
Salary: $80,000-$100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday
- Lead implementation of The Learning Experience's L.E.A.P. Curriculum
- Conduct classroom observations and provide coaching and feedback to teachers
- Mentor and develop Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and classroom support staff
- Maintain high standards for classroom quality and educational practice
- Support lesson planning, child assessments, and developmental documentation
- Identify professional development needs and provide ongoing teacher training
- Support onboarding and development of new educators
- Ensure classrooms and educational practices meet applicable licensing requirements
- Maintain required educational, training, and compliance documentation
- Build positive relationships with families and support educational communication
- Partner with the Center Director on staffing, family retention, enrollment, and school quality
- Foster a positive culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Must meet applicable New York City Education Director qualification requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a closely related field required
- New York State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education, Birth-Grade 2, or equivalent strongly preferred where applicable
- 3+ years of early childhood education leadership experience preferred
- Experience coaching and developing early childhood teachers required
- Strong knowledge of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
- Knowledge of applicable New York City childcare licensing requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- $80,000-$100,000 annual salary
